Oreo Balls!!!

Prep time: 2 hrs.

1 pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed
1 8oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
1 pkg. white almond bark
1 pkg. chocolate almond bark (optional)

Using blender or mixer mix together Oeros and cream cheese. Roll into walnut-size balls. Chill 1 hour. Melt approx. 3/4th pkg. of white almond bark. Stick toothpick and dip into melted white almond bark. Allow to harden on wax paper for about 15 min. While waiting, melt about 1/4th pkg. of chocolate almond bark. When Oreo balls are no longer sticky to the touch, decorate with drizzles of chocolate and white almond bark (can use sandwich bad with tiny hole poked or cut in 1 corner for decorating).

  This is the recipe that I used last Christmas, it is really good! I usually don't decorate them. I have used the mint oreos and I have eaten ones that have been made with the chocolate oreos, but I thought they were too chocolaty! :D

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas!

NOT!! I don't have to! It snowed last night!! :D Mine and my dad's cars are covered in snow! Well, I suppose this is the part I should tell what all I got, but why not do things a bit differently! Last night I had the annual Christmas Eve service at my church. I should have known something would happen! For example, one year we had communion with sandwich bread and cran-grape juice, because somebody forgot to pick up the other stuff! This year the Christ candle wouldn't light! The family tried for about five minutes! After their youngest daughter, mom, tall cousin, and legally adult daughter tried, we decided that we would pretend it was lit! It was fun! Now, I shall tell about my gifts! I got DDR, a blanket, soap the has a penguin on it (is Santa suggesting something here?), socks that have penguins on them, a stuffed penguin, a penguin key chain (I like penguins!), and a lottery ticket! I think I won six dollars too! :D

I just found out that I can watch some of my favorite Japanese anime on hulu! Yippee!!! The only problem is they keep showing commercials...

It's Almost Over!

I now have all the English credits I need for High School!!! YAY!!! Now, possibly onto Comp. 2...If I get the grant...Part of me is hoping I can take it, and part of me is not! If I do get to take it, I don't think I will have to take English in college anymore! But if I don't, I'm not going to complain!
 It did turn into freezing rain last night, and class was 4 hours late. My car looked like it had a beard! Well, it looks like warmer weather is coming our way! Adios!

The Dreaded Finals...

Ok, so I have my first ever finals tomorrow! After being home schooled almost all my life, and finally doing a duel credit class my senior year, it has me more than a little freaked out! I'm starting to wonder if my last day of class is going to be like my first one. To give an example of what I mean, here is a short quote from my journal, "Aug. 31, 2010
       I had my first college class today! I am still scared crapless! You should have seen my face this morning before I left! I thought I was gonna barf! All through the class, I thought I was gonna barf! In my Jazz class, I thought I was gonna barf! But that's probably because we went to Taco Bell before!"
   Yeah, I was probably looking a little green...I will look the same tomorrow too...that is...if the weather is nice. It's supposed to start raining, and then turn into freezing rain, so I might not have them. If I do, since I only have English, I have to write a four-page paper on whether money can buy happiness or not! It is very lame and confusing! If not, I will have to worry about that stinking paper the whole weekend! I guess it could be an appropriate topic with Christmas coming up. And speaking of which, I need to get off here and do some shopping before it gets all rainy! So long folks! :)
